With Pioneer receivers and navigation systems featuring Bluetooth wireless technology, you have the ability to make and receive phone calls on certain Bluetooth-compatible phones without ever putting a finger on the phone.* Once a compatible Bluetooth phone is synced with the Pioneer system in your car, phone calls will come in through the system. When making or receiving a call, you’ll talk into the system’s included microphone and listen through your car speakers..

Receiver Meets Phone Book

If you’re someone that has a full phone book but memorizes few numbers, you’ll appreciate the ability to transfer the phone book in your cell phone to select Bluetooth-ready Pioneer receivers**.  Dialing and browsing your phone book is made simple thanks to the ABC Search. Simply enter a letter and the receiver will display names starting with that letter. Within the phone book, you also have the ability to easily edit names/numbers, add numbers, and categorize entries.

Stream Wireless Audio

Have one of those hot new music phones? In addition to hands-free calling, certain Pioneer’s Bluetooth-ready systems offer wireless audio streaming and control when connected to compatible Bluetooth-enabled cell phones and digital media players.*** Streaming MP3, WMA, and other compatible formats lets you control your media player wirelessly right on the Pioneer system in front of you and produces the high quality sound output you expect from a Pioneer unit.

**Phone Book transfer is only available on Pioneer DEH-P9800BT and DEH-P7900BT systems and the AVIC-Z2 navigation system.  In addition, Phone Book Transfer is not available for Guests or unregistered cell phones on the Pioneer system.
